Meet Me In Paradise: Cadaqúes

Tuesday, 31 October 2017

Hello hello. Happy Friday! I hope you had a good week!

I am just back in France after spending a lovely week in Cadaqués in the north of Spain. When I look back at shots from this trip it still makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I keep remembering those sun-drenched days and endless hours of splashing in the sea like five year olds. Of course a new Tara Jarmon dress helps the situation also. I bought this stunning cobalt blue maxi in Ireland during the summer. Obviously with the unpredictable Irish summer that we had, I never actually got the chance to wear it. It was so perfect for Cadaqués though! Unfortunately, it was part of the summer collection so I haven't managed to find a link for it, but I  did find something similar on Asos which is equally as stunning and very reasonably priced. It is the exact same colouring and similar length. I will link it below along with all my other outfit details...

The Yellow Dress

Thursday, 26 October 2017

Okay, I promise this is the last of the graduation day spam! But I wanted to write a very quick post on last week's outfit for the big day. This was definitely one of the best days ever. Everything happened so quickly after finishing my final year exams, fashion interning, travelling etc., that I actually barely had time to stop and let it sink in - 'I finished uni! I actually survived!' So graduation day was definitely a major feel proud moment and a nice excuse to reflect on the past four years...

Lost In The Pyrenees

Sunday, 22 October 2017

Hello there, thanks for stopping by!

If you follow me Instagram (@Naomi.kelliher) you will have seen my snaps from my trip to the Pyrenees mountains this week. I have been in the Pyrenees before, but each time seems to be better than the next. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday living, I would highly recommend going. Here you feel a thousand miles away from everything...

I Graduated!

Friday, 20 October 2017

On Tuesday I graduated from UCC. This time last year I remember sitting in my room with a towering pile of books by my side, with next to no social life, drowning in cups of coffee (I don't even like coffee). I remember thinking to myself, 'when will this all end!!?'. To say final year was stressful is an absolute understatement. Saying that, I wouldn't change a thing. The tears, the meltdowns, the deadlines, the early mornings...

Let's Talk Skincare

Monday, 16 October 2017

While I am certainly  no expert on the matter of skincare, I think its fair to say that everyone has had their own skin issues at some point and time. Whether it’s that one stubborn spot or a zillion spots at once. We’ve all been there. What works for some may not work for others but I would like to share what worked for me :)

Ola Portugal

I have been meaning to write a post on my recent trip to Portugal but I simply have not had the time until now. Thanks to Hurricane Ophelia I have the day off work so I have battened down the hatches and stocked up enough snacks to keep me going for the month! I love being cosy at home watching the storm brewing outside my window. It is also the perfect excuse to sit down and write. Finally! I started a new job and have been busy moving into my new place and adjusting to adult life. Seriously, going from student life to REAL LIFE is like a smack in the face! On the plus side, I just passed my driving test! Really feeling very adult-like now...

T'is The Season To Wear Knitwear

Saturday, 30 September 2017

I love October. I always consider October as the start of a new season which means it’s the perfect excuse to buy NEW CLOTHES. For me there’s nothing better than watching the A/W stock roll in! In the end, we here in Ireland will be basically living in it for at least nine months of the year, so we might as well embrace it!

Changes

Tuesday, 26 September 2017

Bonjour!

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was suuuuper relaxed and very enjoyable. When I say ‘relaxed’ I literally mean I did EVERYTHING but work. Honestly, I’m not one for sitting in my pjs watching Netflix all day. So, after a busy week moving into my new apartment and starting a new job, it was so nice to finally have this weekend to do some exploring...

My September Favorites

Monday, 18 September 2017

Hello! I hope you had a nice weekend. Today I decided to blog some of my favorite beauty products I have been using this month - just to mix things up a bit!

Hello Autumn!

Thursday, 7 September 2017

Autumn is upon us once again. Although I am a summer-lovin' kind of gal, I must admit I do love Autumn fashion. (Give it until October and I will be crying out for summer again!) I am also very excited to play around with this seasons biggest trends, you can read about my favourites in my last post. With unpredictable weather changes, September can be a tricky month in terms of dressing. I always find myself shuffling between my winter and summer wear. Soooo, I have been scanning the web and have poked out my favourite everyday autumn transition pieces that will make September dressing a whole lot easier.

Happy browsing!

5 Minute Make-Up

Monday, 4 September 2017

This morning was one of those typical Monday mornings where everything that could have went wrong, WENT WRONG. My first Monday back to reality after six weeks of travelling, what could one expect. In my mind I am still sipping Sangria in the local Spanish chiringuito listening to Bob Marley. I am usually a super organised person but this morning I will admit I had some difficulties adjusting to normality. In the end I found myself racing against the clock. So with 30 minutes to go before my first appointment of the day, I made a quick mental time plan: 5 minute breakfast, 5 minute make-up, 5 minute outfit planning, 5 minute hug and feed the dog, 10 minute drive... The hair? The wet-look is all in right?? So as I was doing my make-up I thought it might be useful to make a post for those who often must make themselves look pretty in a hurry. So here is my go to, 5 minute make-up look...
