A Weekend In (Not So Sunny) San Sebastian

Sunday, 17 December 2017

Last weekend my boyfriend and I ventured down to San Sebastian. I have wanted to go there for quite some time now, so I have finally ticked it off my list places to visit. San Sebastian is absolutely beautiful! It did't really feel like being in Spain, it was more like being in Bordeaux or somewhere...

Safe to say we experienced all four seasons in the three days we were there. It rained, hailed, snowed and I'm sure I saw the sun peep out once or twice. Nevertheless, we enjoyed every second of it. The weather gave us the perfect excuse to be lazy in our very lovely, cosy hotel. We stayed in Hotel One Shot Tabakalera House. The decor was so modern and unique. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely come back. It is also located very conveniently across from a VEGAN RESTAURANT!!! Even my non-vegetarian boyfriend loved it!  I was actually quite surprised by how many veggies restaurants there are in San Sebastian. (I will link some of the places we ate below).

Despite the rain and the FREEZING cold, I loved wandering around the beautiful streets of San Sebastian. I was so amazed by the beautiful architecture. I think it was the architecture that made me feel like I was in a French city. Pintxos are popular in San Seb, which probably explains why I I want to go back. One day we literally went on a pintxos trail and ate our way through the city. Even though they are only 'snacks', our bellies were veryyyy satisfied. We also stopped off in Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra for cheeky afternoon bottle of wine. The views from the bar were amazing, I have included some pics below.

I have also included some things to do and places to eat below (yes, we did more than eating I swear). You can find all outfit details under the pics if you are interested.

San Sebastian is a must-see. Now to start planning my Christmas trip.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the Christmas festivities.

Un abrazo grande xx
